Terms & Conditions

The below terms and conditions are issued for guidance to people who wish to book directly with the owners of Rofield Barn. If your booking is through an authorised agent who represents our property then their terms and conditions will apply in addition to ours.

  • Bookings can be made directly with the owners of Rofield Barn through their dedicated website www.rofieldbarn.com or through authorised websites/agents offering Rofield Barn.
  • Contact with the owners can be made directly on email: [email protected] or telephone: (+44) 01452 780323 or in writing to: Jeremy and Hazel Lewis, Rofield, Lower Apperley, Glos, GL19 4DR, UK.
  • On contacting us, Jeremy and/or Hazel will discuss your proposed dates and fees for the period you wish to take.
  • To confirm the reservation you will need to send a cheque/internet transfer (non-refundable deposit) for 20% of the rental fee. The balance of the rental must be paid at least six weeks before your arrival. Failure to ensure that such payment reaches us by that date may result in cancellation of the agreed rental period.
  • If your reservation is made within six weeks of your arrival date then the full fee is required before the reservation can be confirmed.
  • On receipt of your deposit a confirmation letter or email is sent to you with the details of your reservation.
  • On receipt of your full and final fee you will receive further instructions including directions to our property, location of key etc.
  • Cancellation insurance is the full responsibility of the tenant/holiday-maker. We advise you to take out this insurance to cover any cancellation, breakages or accidental damage while in Rofield Barn.
  • Uninsured cancellation: In the unlikely event that you have to cancel or amend the already agreed rental arrangements with us we will endeavour to re-let Rofield Barn, in which case a full or partial refund of your rental fee (less non-refundable deposit) will be returned to you. If the property is not re-let than the monies are forfeit.
  • The number of people using Rofield Barn is not to exceed 8 (eight) adults + babes
  • The owners of Rofield Barn (or our representatives) are to be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during the rental period. A reasonable amount of notice will be given should this be necessary.
  • The holiday maker/tenant undertakes to keep the premises and all furniture, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the rental period. You also undertake to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. The owners of Rofield Barn should be compensated for damage and breakages that may occur (fair wear and tear excepted).
  • If you are bringing the dog(s) we ask you to be extra careful when they are in Rofield Barn. Please use the throws (supplied) on the settees and armchairs, not let them wander upstairs or into any of the bedrooms (use stair gate) and make sure you clean up after them when they are outside. They must never be left alone in Rofield Barn.
  • We have compiled the information in our advertising as accurately as possible. However, facilities may be altered or withdrawn as we strive to improve Rofield Barn. Every effort in advising you and your party will be taken should this happen.
